Undoubtedly remembered for the physical challenge they represented last season, TEFA are our first opponents in the league in the 2013-14 season.
They finished last season a respectable 6th, winning 10, drawing just 2 and losing 10 suggesting an open style of play.
However two of those victories were earned both home and away against the pacer last season. The first of which in this corresponding fixture saw a man of the match performance from Ben Hanney in which the 3-0 down after 50 minutes, goals from Albi and a stonker from Alex led to a frenetic final 10. 3-2.
Last season’s home game coming on the last Sunday in April also ended 2-3 to Tefa, in which Jordan was the star man, with a goal, and nick also notching one.
In a spooky twist, with TEFA getting their league campaign underway last Sunday in division 3’s only fixture, overcame newboys Stockwell united away, also, 2-3.
So fresh of a victory against upper league opposition Bath Old Boys, the pacers will be looking to seek revenge on the Wandsworth based team.

Midweek Training will begin on Tuesday 13th September.
Ben has secured an indoor 6-a-side pitch at the imaginatively named Ken Barrington Centre inside the Oval Cricket Ground, Oval.
Training will take place every Tuesday from 7pm – 8pm.
Directions: Head to Oval main entrance (near tube), tell security you’re training at the Ken Barrington centre. Head round the left hand side of the Oval until you find the entrance.
Obviously, due to pitch size, not everyone will be able to attend every week, but I’m sure that Ben is working on a geeky algorithm to create some kind of rota to ensure a fair rotation.
More details will follow nearer the time, but please try to keep your Tuesdays free if possible.

Time: 11:30 KO, Meet at 11:00am
Nearest Station: Earlsfield Rail (5 mins walk)
There will probably be the opportunity for a few scoops in The Leather Bottle after the match as well.

Following the Social on the 15th July, Sunday 17th July’s training session will be an intra-Pacer game (a try out!). Ash will look at booking a proper pitch – BUT CAN EVERYONE PLEASE CONFIRM IF THEY CAN ATTEND ON 17TH JULY FOR A FULL MATCH. We need a minimum really of 20 to make it. Friends can come along if we are short. But remember this is your chance to stake a claim for next season so advise you do your best to make it.
